Bulldogs Fare Well at Central Missouri

The bulldog track team was in full swing this past weekend, making the trip to Warrensburg, Missouri home of the Central Missouri Mules for the Mule Relays. The women competing on Friday were Andrea Swanson in the women's weight throw and the shot put, Rachel Leuthold in the Pole Vault and Torey Fry in the 1600m. All three women competed very well. Swanson threw the Weight Throw for the very first time in competition and set the new school record at 42'1.25'' placing 12th overall. In the shot put swanson placed 4th with a throw of 42' 6.25''. Leuthold cleared 10'2'' which placed her 6th overall at the meet. Rachel had some very good attempts at 10'8'' and we are very excited. To finish out the day, Torey Fry competed in the women's 1600m with a time 6:45.35. All in all the women competed very well and we are excited to see what they can continue to do in the future!

The men traveled to Central Missouri on Saturday to give it there all at the Mule Relays. Everyone showed up to compete and it was a great day for an indoor track meet. Grant Miller and Steve McCrate competed in the Weight Throw, both throwing season bests. Garret Sharp competed in the High Jump, showing some improvments. Mitchell Krier won the Men's Pole Vault with a clearance of 16'.75'' and had 2 very good attempts at 17'. The Bulldog sprinters runing in the 60m were Ben Barker, Gini Ibe and Ratt Muor. Leterius Ray and David Johnson competed in the 600. Kyle Smith ran the 1600m. All of them competed well.
